We held my son's birthday party at The Baird and served food from the Player Agency. The kid absolutely loved the chicken tenders and fries. One kid told me they were the best she's ever had, and 6 year olds would know! Billy and team were so easy to work with. Can't wait to go back!

I took my post 21 special needs group here for a trip and it was a huge hit. The space is large, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with our big crew. The lovely staff behind the counter was encouraging and patient with our aim to have our members be independent when ordering. One of the owners welcomed us and gave game recommendations based on our size and needs of the group. Oh and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend this location for groups who want to be a part of the community. On a more personal note, as an individual who loves board gaming, i really appreciated the selection of quality games with many being recent releases. I can't wait to go back with friends and with our special needs crew at Limitless.

A spacious, clean, friendly place for board games (with a large selection available to borrow for free). The cafe food and beverage selection has something for everyone from fries for the kids to fresh healthy salads, soups, and hot drinks. The staff is very friendly as is the clientele. Housed within the Baird building in South Orange there is both indoor and outdoor seating as well as outdoor play areas for basketball, Pickleball, tennis etc for the more active members of the family. Regularly scheduled game event nights makes it easy to meet new people who have similar game interests and join in easily with new people. Try it … you’ll be glad you did !

Billy and the team were great about communicating as we planned the menu for our daughter's birthday party at the Baird. There were several food allergies to accommodate and they sourced and made a gluten free, dairy free, and soy free pizza and a taco station for them. It turned out delicious! All the party guests remarked on how tasty everything was.

Everything about the Player Agency is super welcoming - the atmosphere, the staff, the other people there - literally everything!! I've been playing D&D with them for several months and it's definitely a highlight of my week! I also really like the new house made chai as well as their caprese sandwich and the hummus and veggies. All of their food is reasonably priced. They have so many games available to play as well! I highly recommend checking them out!!

Imagine a super kid friendly place located in a former grand estate overlooking parks and ballfields where you and your cohort can play virtually every board game known to man for free. And drink some of the best coffee in New Jersey. And get a wide variety of delicious fresh cooked food. And watch football on Sundays. This place exists, and it is The Player Agency. I take my two sons age 10 and six here at least twice a week. If you're ever in the South Orange / Maplewood area at a loss for what to do with your kids for an hour or two, this is your answer. I have also cured a hangover with their egg sandwich once or twice.
